Our History
Our story began in 1964 with a man called Bob. Bob had several things going for him – the drive and enthusiasm to want to run his own business, a beautiful wife (Dorothy) and lots of ideas.
Bob became an artist and developed various techniques and adopted all manner of tools and materials to make his work easier and better. Through the 1970’s and 80’s Bob started to supply some of his innovative ideas, tools, and materials to other artists. Professionals and amateurs alike, welcomed innovation, modern materials, and a dynamic approach to making things.
Tens of thousands of catalogues later, and an ever-increasing range of specialised products developed for many different types of trades, we have decided to put together a dedicated Craft website.
Our Future
OttaCraft.co.uk is a brand-new site dedicated to bringing many, very new and some already established products to a professional and craft industry, that seemingly has an insatiable appetite for innovation in materials and process. OttaCraft.co.uk is dedicated to super charge your capability and artistry. Offering a range of products that are high performing, innovative, user friendly and perhaps most of all very unique for the most part.

We have survived this long, as we strive to develop fresh ideas that gain the support of our family and most of all our fantastic community of customers. Enthusiasm for our products has fuelled an ongoing and ever-increasing creativity by our customers.
Our customers infectious enthusiasm, whether they pick up a brush, a pencil, sculpting or carving tools in turn drives us to be more innovative and creative allowing us to develop product and techniques that help to push the boundaries of possibility. Creative people are our kind of people, and it is they who have made our first 48 years so exciting – we have learnt allot!
